Father in hospital
I have been considering having a paternity test done for my child for years now, but I put it off for too long, because my child’s father was recently in a car accident and is in a coma in the intensive care unit. He is not expected to live much longer. I want to be able to tell my son with certainty who his father is. Is there anything I can do? What if he passes away before we have the test done?

The Beta Self-Collection™ kit gives you the option of collecting DNA samples for paternity testing at any place and time. You can take it to the hospital to painlessly swab the father’s cheek.
Should he pass away before his samples are collected, we have other testing options available. I encourage you to call us at 1-800-798-3810 for a personal consultation with our caring paternity specialists.
