Buccal Swabs and Self-Collection
Collecting DNA samples for a paternity test is easy and simple using our Self-Collection™ kit. Because DNA is the same in all cells of the body, we do not need to use blood for DNA testing to determine parentage. In our home DNA test, you can use a simple buccal swab, much like a Q-tip, to painlessly take loose cheek cells by rubbing it against the inside of your cheek.
This buccal swab contains enough DNA for a paternity test.
