$100 off Legal Test

Friday, February 24th, 2006

Today we would like to highlight Beta Paternity’s exclusive $100 off deal. If you order our Self-Collection™ test, also known as an in-home test, you are eligible to receive a $100 off discount when you later need a legal paternity test with our partner, DNA Diagnostics Center (DDC).

Some clients in uncertain paternity situations first want to test their suspicions by having a private, self-collected DNA paternity test, with as few other persons involved as possible. Based on the results, they would then decide whether or not to have a chain-of-custody test performed for results that are defensible in court. Our exclusive offer allows these clients to save money through our partnership with DNA Diagnostics Center, the world’s largest private DNA laboratory for chain of custody testing.

Buccal Swabs and Self-Collection

Thursday, February 23rd, 2006

Collecting DNA samples for a paternity test is easy and simple using our Self-Collection™ kit. Because DNA is the same in all cells of the body, we do not need to use blood for DNA testing to determine parentage. In our home DNA test, you can use a simple buccal swab, much like a Q-tip, to painlessly take loose cheek cells by rubbing it against the inside of your cheek.
This buccal swab contains enough DNA for a paternity test.

Father in hospital

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2006

I have been considering having a paternity test done for my child for years now, but I put it off for too long, because my child’s father was recently in a car accident and is in a coma in the intensive care unit. He is not expected to live much longer. I want to be able to tell my son with certainty who his father is. Is there anything I can do? What if he passes away before we have the test done?

Saturday, February 11th, 2006

If I do an In Home test, will my results be different from me doing a test where, I have to be scheduled and my DNA samples taken by someone else, like a nurse??
